Group Class Policies:
The group ballroom dance classes run in four week sessions (see Calendar) and cost $48 per person for a four week session/package. This package is known as a Class Pass and saves you money vs. purchasing one group lesson at a time.  Each class meets once a week for four weeks. After a four week session ends, a different set of dances will be taught, so if you don't see the dance you would like to learn, it may be offered in the next session. The ballroom dance classes are cumulative so each week builds on the material taught in the previous week(s). You may take a class as a drop in for $15 per person, but it is recommended that you try to come to all the ballroom dance classes rather than dropping in sporadically. New steps and combinations of figures are taught, and good technique and styling are always stressed.
There will be no refunds once the class starts. The "drop-in" rate is $15 per person per class. There will be no credits for missed classes unless we cancel due to bad weather. Video taping of group classes is not permitted. Group classes are rarely cancelled due to bad weather... However, if you want to make sure the class will be held, please call the studio number: (423) 771-3646. 
Because this is a physical activity, on a rare occasion, an injury may
occur during a private, group or social activity. It is understood that no
liability shall be held to Ballroom Magic Dance Center, Dennis Mullis or
anyone else participating in this activity.
Since this is a business establishment, others may be present during the
time of a private lesson. One student or couple with an instructor is
considered a private lesson. Other private lessons may be occurring at
the same time.
Ballroom Magic Dance Center is not responsible for the loss of any
valuables or the destruction of any personal property brought into the
studio.
All sales are final. No refund of private or group lessons either used or
unused shall be refunded or transferred to any other person.

Private Lesson Policies:
Private lessons are designed to be taken each week. The number of
lessons each week will be determined with your instructor.
Each private lesson is a 55 minute lesson. It is usually referred to as an
hour lesson.
Everyone’s lesson is valuable. In order to change or cancel a lesson, a
24 hour notice may be required.
Regardless of the block of lessons purchased, when you reach the last
two (2) lessons you will be asked to renew and purchase your next
block. This ensures that your learning does not have to stop to round
off the learning process and allows your instructor to book your time
should you decide not to continue.
All blocks of lessons expire at a rate of two (2) per month whether used
or not. Special circumstances may be taken in consideration.
